I'm a published freelance writer. My work has appeared in various print magazines and newspapers.

I write plays and have won two national play contests.  To my surprise I  even had one produced in Dubuque, Iowa. Yes - there is a Dubuque - I was there with it’s live stage production.  This was a thrill beyond words.

I mainly write freelance articles (non-fiction) on personality profiles, travel destination or historical pieces.

Photography is a passion, which helps to illustrate my articles in magazines. Good digital (or 35mm) photos give one an edge with the editors. Not only can you give them great copy but because it allows you to supply illustration with your writings.

Like every writer, I'm working on a novel. This is a definite learning process. Learning by my mistakes as I write one, but some day hoped to be a published novelist.

Where do I live? I live in a small town in Southern Ohio, where the population and town doesn't have a sign. I live on about ten acres of creek front property that I endlessly mow during the summer months.

Hopefully, this site will lead would-be writers to the well of knowledge and encourage others to be all that they can be by the pen. So check out my links and my favorites.
