Bob Evens Farm Festival

Some 1,400 campers from more than 19 states will gather down on the farm this month to experience the Appalachian traditions of quilting, harvest, music and history. The 30th annual Bob Evans Farm Festival takes place October 13-15 on the 1,1 CD-acre working farm located in Rio Grande, Ohio. Hearty home-style meals are served at the original Bob Evans restaurant; more than 400 others serve customers throughout the Midwest and South. The farm's homestead, once a stagecoach stop, is now in the National Register of Historic Places,

At this year's festival, visitors will observe various barnyard demonstrations, including horseshoe pitching and sheep shearing. In addition, avariety of musical entertainers will perform on stage.
