Loveland's Castle | Chateau La Roche

MotorHome Magazine | July 2001

Loveland's Chateau La Roche, French for Rock Castle, looms on the banks of Ohio's Little Miami River, complete with spiral stairs, turrets, dungeon and battlements. Harry D. Andrews built the 17-room structure in 1929 as a one-fifth-scale replica of a 16th-century medieval Normanesque castle. Dreams of children and adults are brought to life daily April through early September and on weekends the rest of the year. Nominal admission is charged. For directions and details, call (513) 683-4686, or visit the Web site: www.lovelandcastle.org.
